Swedish DJ\/producer Stonebridge needs no introduction. You\u2019ll know and love him for chart-topping tracks including \u2018Take Me Away\u2019 and one of the most requested songs at O Beach Ibiza: \u2018Show Me Love\u2019 – Robin S (club remix).<\/p>\n

<\/span>It was Stonebridge\u2019s remix of \u2018Closer\u2019 – Ne-Yo that led to his Grammy nomination. He was also the first DJ that Britney\u2019s team asked to remix the unforgettable Blackout single: \u2018Gimme More\u2019. But what\u2019s he working on at the moment?<\/p>\n

\u201cI very recently released my new single \u2018Not Alone\u2019 and it\u2019s going really well. I\u2019m also writing, producing and remixing a lot right now, just finished this insanely good track by STHLM Esg called \u2018Running\u2019.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re incredibly excited to be joined by StoneBridge, Hedkandi\u2019s birthday guest, this summer, for one special set on 26th August to commemorate the sexiest sounds since \u201999.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my favourite Hedkandi memory would be in Miami during WMC (Winter Music Conference) many years ago. Eric Kupper and I are sitting by a pool on South Beach and talking producer stuff and all of a sudden Mark Doyle (creator of Hedkandi) rocks up, points at Eric saying \u201cYou\u2019re on at 11\u201d, then me \u201cYou\u2019re on at 12\u201d! We just looked at each other and asked him \u201cDid we just get a Hedkandi gig?\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how it started.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another favourite is Mark asking: \u201cWhy did you never make an artist album?\u201d in 2003, I said \u201cBecause no-one asked!\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u201cWell I am now,\u201d says Mark, and that\u2019s how the album with \u2018Put \u2018Em High\u2019 came about. Gotta love it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Impossible to forget, that very track went on to become a Hedkandi favourite, peaking at no.6 in the UK Singles Chart. \u201cIn general, I always push forward and never get too sentimental, but there are definitely epic songs from different times that immediately bring me to a certain time or place, like \u2018Put \u2018Em High\u2019 There are so many memories from all the Hedkandi shows worldwide and the mad touring.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of those memories include Ibiza, Hedkandi\u2019s second home, and to Stone \u201ca special place with a certain vibe you can\u2019t find anywhere else.<\/span><\/p>\n

You sort of feel that special people have been attracted to it for a long time creating a <\/span>one-of-a-kind<\/span> atmosphere. It also attracts people that love music which makes it fun to play here!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Expect a selection of feel-good house tunes from StoneBridge\u2019s set at O Beach Ibiza this season, as well as hands-in-the-air moments and a little nostalgia too. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018There For You\u2019 – Just Kiddin ft Effie is an awesome track I keep coming back to at the moment. \u00a0There will always be some golden moments people won\u2019t expect in my sets. I\u2019ve remixed and produced since 1988 or so – I can dig in the vault but I like to surprise with new remixes of classics done more recently, too.\u201d<\/span>
