Just before the dawn of the new millennium, the 90’s\u00a0blessed us with some of the best artists in the music industry. Not\u00a0only did they dominate radio and rule the nightlife scene, but they also made huge impacts on many of our lives!\u00a0But what ever happened to our fave musical icons once the decade faded away?<\/h3>\n

Here’s where our favourite\u00a090s breakthrough artists have ended up!<\/h3>\n

Seal!<\/h3>\n

The ‘Kiss From A Rose’ singer and Brit award winner rose to fame with his ‘Eponymous’ debut album in 1991 which included\u00a0hits such as Killer and Future Love Paradise. Nowadays Seal remains a singer and has also created a successful career as a regular TV judge. In 2012-2013 Seal was a judge on The Voice Australia and returned\u00a0for the sixth season in 2017. He was also on this years BBC’s Pitch Battle and has recently appeared as a guest judge alongside ex-wife Heidi Klum on Americas Got Talent…awks?<\/p>\n

…and Adamski!<\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll probably best remember Adamski for his collaboration with Seal on the No.1 single Killer<\/i> in 1990! But what ever happened to him? Well for one, he changed his name numerous times! So under the name Fleas On Skis, Tinley (aka Adamski) released the single It’s A Man’s Man’s Whirled\/Happy Ness<\/i> during 2014. Then in early 2015, Tinley reverted to his Adamski title to release the 20 track album Revolt<\/i>, which featured collaborations with numerous artists.<\/p>\n

The KLF!<\/h3>\n

Most remembered for burning \u00a31m on the remote Scottish island of Jura on the 23rd August in 1994. The KLF – one of Britain’s most provocative bands who had such hits as 3AM Eternal, Last Train to Trancentral and What Time Is Love then vowed to put their careers on hold for 23 years. So, at exactly 23seconds past midnight on 23rd August 2017 Bill Drummond and Kimmy Cauty drove into a backstreet of Liverpool in an ice-cream van to begin three days of events to promote an \u201cend of days story\u201d they published as ‘2023: A Trilogy<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu!<\/em>‘<\/p>\n

Jocelyn Brown!<\/h3>\n

The queen of house and disco who provided vocals for dance music\u2019s most\u00a0influential\u00a0tunes including\u00a0Somebody Else\u2019s Guy,\u00a0Always There and Keep On Jumpin\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>is still going strong and has been performing at several Jazz venues throughout the UK as well as this years Brighton & Hoves Pride Festival back in August! In 2018 the\u00a0American soulstress will be making a sensational appearance at Electric Brixton and Camden’s Jazz Cafe in April! Eek!<\/p>\n

Judge Jules!<\/h3>\n

Voted as the No.1 DJ in the entire World by DJ Magazine back in 1995, British dance music DJ Judge Jules took a step down from his ever popular BBC Radio 1 show after 14years to become an entertainments lawyer back in 2011!<\/p>\n

Faithless!<\/h3>\n

Faithless fan?! Of course you were! Well the famous\u00a0electronica trio\u00a0of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo that bought us tracks such as\u00a0Insomnia, God is a DJ\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Mass Destruction<\/em>\u00a0can still be seen touring to this very day! They have also just released their brand new album\u00a0Faithless 2.0!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Orbital!<\/h3>\n

Remember Orbital? The dance music duo of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll that gave us\u00a0Halcyon On and On\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Saint?<\/em>\u00a0Well they’re back as they‘ve<\/i>\u00a0reunited yet again this year, more than 2 years since their second split! However this time the brothers\u00a0have put aside their differences to go on tour again and release new material!<\/p>\n

Danny Rampling!<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0<\/em>widely credited as one of the original founders of the UK’s rave\/club scene Danny Rampling released his own book back in 2010 called\u00a0Everything you need to know about DJ\u2019ing and success\u00a0<\/em>which serves as inspiration for the new breed of young DJs. Nowadays, he resides with his wife in the coastal Sussex town of Hastings… but you can catch him performing every now and then.<\/p>\n

Frankie Knuckles!<\/h3>\n

The Godfather of House music,\u00a0known for remixing tracks by Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, as well as his own songs, such as the legendary Your Love<\/em> and The Whistle Song<\/em>. Knuckles was one of the Nineties’ most prolific house music producers and remixers and hands down, one of the most important DJs of all time! Sadly Knuckles passed away in 2014 but his music still lives on through all of us!<\/p>\n

Robert Miles<\/h3>\n

Another incredible musician to leave us too soon.\u00a0Robert Miles, the\u00a0Swiss-born Italian record producer, composer, musician and DJ tragically\u00a0passed at the young age of 47 years old earlier this year.\u00a0\u00a0Miles was most famous for his epic track ‘Children’<\/em>\u00a0which\u00a0became one of the best-selling dance tracks of all time after its release in 1995, reaching number one in more than 12 countries and is still heard in clubs worldwide today!<\/p>\n
